For this assignment we were required to go out and take photos using the macro setting on our camera, whilst also taking into consideration the rule of thirds. In order to do this we had to change our camera settings, and focus more on the smaller and finer details of an object to effectively convey our ideas and final images.
Each image has been optimised on photoshop to enhance the hue saturation, making the colours brighter and heightening the contrast.
This project made you realsie that the smaller and more intricate details of an object hold the key to their character, for example the photo below of the park table is given a sense of character by the aged effect of the timber and the paint peeling off, which all combine to create very strong and aesthetically pleasing visual elements.
